Surprisingly, it didn’t hurt during the process of getting it pierced. The funny thing is is that when my piercer first stuck the needle through, it almost felt good in a way, hence the title of my post. But anyway haha. The thing that hurts a lot is trying to eat. (Which totally BLOWS because I can’t say no to food, ever!) I got my tongue pierced Saturday afternoon, it’s Monday evening now, and it was way easier to eat today than it was yesterday and the day before. It’s gonna be a little sore all the time, but I’m sure you know that’s the drill with any other piercing. Umm… other than that, I talk almost like I have a retainer still too. If you don’t have a high tolerance for pain, I’d just say take a couple Advil an hour or so before you get it pierced, and during the healing process and it shouldn’t bother you too badly. :) Good luck! I love mine and it’s totally worth it!
